Without knowing how your system was programmed anyone may struggle to describe exactly how to do that but generally, on the 2700 touchscreen model most users simply need to know the correct SLU #. IE: you want to add a dessert, you look at the other desserts and notice they all have the same SLU # (lets say its #8), so you program a new menu item, you put in the name, price, major & family group, printer routing etc. (many times the dealer will pre-program menu item areas so that all you need to add is name, price, & SLU), you MUST put an "8" in the SLU field. Now when you press desserts on the touchscreen, you new item appears, bear in mind you may have to page down to find additional items (once the list outgrows the area on the screen, you page down to find the 2nd page of items). It's all about that SLU #. Remember thou, your database may be structured differently, there are many ways of programming menu items on the 2700 and what I've posted may not work but it is a very typical set up. BTW there are a total of 64 SLU's (1-64) avaialable on the 2700. Good Luck
