PopUp subform will not talk to the main subform.

I'm stumped on my new PopUp.

I added 2 records manually for a test. The popup works fine for the 2 records.
But for a 3rd record, i could not add to the 3rd records popup subform.

If I may, I attach a mini test file to illustrate my dilemma.
Chhose TripID 6005 and Resort 300 and hit tab or enter. In comes 23 people who were on the trip.

The first two people, Sinatra and Puckett were my manual entry into tblTripReview. Just to see what happens.
You will notice that their names appear in the RED name box in the popup subform sfrm7964Detail. So far so good, it seemed.

But if i click on the 3rd fellow, "Bettis, Jerome", up comes the Popup but the RED name box in sfrm7064detail is blank.
And if i add data for bettis, it is not saved. It seems the popup is really ignoring the sfrm7962People.

Help is appreciated as usual. This is my first time working with a Popup. I am trying. Thanks. Glen

I meant to add in my note that in sfrm7962People, in the AfterUpdate, I have :

Maybe I have a wrong quote or double quote ?? Or maybe my syntax is totally faulty?

I guess that I should say, I have trouble starting up a new ADD into the sfrm7964Detail popup.

Maybe i need a 'new record' statement of some kind in the above vba ?

I neglected to say that to get the Popup to appear, I go to a person (who is on sfrm7962People)
which is in RED and click once on the person's LastFirst name.

Up pops the Popup sfrm7964Detail.

Glen, I suspect that others besides myself aren't overly interested in downloading some app you posted, to try to figure out what you're talking about. Try to reconstruct your post to describe the question better. Just saying that 'it works for two records', and expecting people to download some file and examine it is unlikely to to get you any answers.

I already have an outside consultant working on it. Seems that all of my 25 access books never breach the topic. So this must be a difficult one. A consultant 4 years ago did a successful Popup for my brother but the writer is retired. So a new fellow will figure it out for cost. I had planned to give a good donation to this site because i thought that this was what was expected, given the donation button and annual dues that i paid but i was informed last week that they only give quick reviews and no programming. i didn't know that.

I agree with maxhugen. The postings make no sense on their own. Try to break down your issues to the smallest pieces and ask clear questions about the pieces.
