Polycom Realpresence Trio 8800 with IP office 2

I am just curious if anyone has any information on using this phone with IP office. I have looked on here for information on video conferencing and it seems rather sparce. Clearly will need a 3rd party SIP license. I have seem some posts about working on BRI but not PRI, then later PRI might work (and was old so nothing about SIP). I saw some posts about direct media path to take the IPO out of the equation.

It seems to me you would need something like Scopia or something along that lines to get it to work but again I can't find information specific to this phone and Scopia. I did find a document about using this phone with IPO/Server edition but when you look at what they tested it says nothing about video conferencing.

I am just hoping someone has worked with this phone and IP office.

They really should just go with Equinox Meetings Online. Then they can use their existing room systems without a TIP gateway.

It's worth remembering that with the Polycom Trio, the video element is a bolt on and not it's primary focus (Audio Conferencing).

If used in conjunction with Skype for Business they can be very useful, although this is a semi-walled garden - you cant invite 3rd party room systems to Skype online Meetings - You'd need a bridging service for this such as Blue Jeans or Videxio.

Before looking at specific product, maybe assess what the client wants to achieve and who and what they want to include in the video calls.

The customer already bought this phone and now they want me to figure out what is needed for it to work. I am just trying to figure out exactly what it entails. I figured Scopia would be the answer but I just wanted to confirm. I also figured Skype for Business was a possibility as well. I will also look into Equinox Meeting Online as well. I appreciate all the information.
