Hi there,

This may sound stupid but, can't get it to work.

I was at a location doing a MAC and the contact asked me to have a look at this conferencing problem. She had lost the user guide and can't get a conference to work. Apparently it had been working recently and don't suspect any programming/configuration changes have occured.

Anyway.. it is a polycom soundstation (not soundstation 2) that I am trying to make a conference call and can't. After I make the initial call, I hit the "flash" button, (like I said, they don't have the user guide so not sure it is correct procedure but don't imagine that it isn't. No other buttons on it other that the dial pad and mute) it disconnects the call and can't make the 2nd call.

Don't know what the heck is going on.

Tried looking up the cls's and changing a couple of things but no help.

When looking up the dn it it is a 2008, has a conf key on it (key 3) etc.

The phone plugs into the polycom then from the polycom to the jack in the wall. I tried resetting, uplugging.

I should mention that you can conference from the phone but not from the polycom.

I have included a print out of the tn if needed.

Is the polycom plugged into an analog adapter in the back of the 2008?

If so, you can check the programming for TN 11 17 to see if there is anything out of the ordinary.

Thanks John. The 2008 (sitting beside and connected to the Polycom) works when conferencing. Just can't do it through the Polycom itself.

Greg.

Thanks Allenmac.

No there is is just a regular 2008 plugged into this polycom unit (box we'll say), then from the box, goes to the wall jack. With of course the power portion of the unit that plugs into the wall.

Greg.

Thanks,

I'm not familiar with this configuration.
