I have a 3300 Rel. 6.0 SP3 that it appears when I connect the iPocket the VM PMS port 6830 will lock up. The only way to clear it is to reboot the 3300. Once cleared I can using the PMS Emulater talk to Port 6830 and after connecting the iPocket (which I cant make work through the PMS system was working on a 200icp connected directly to the serial port on the express messanger voicemail card) I am going to try to get another iPocket but can someon post the setting from an iPocket they are using for the embedded VM on a 3300. When it locks up I see a maintenance log and acording to mitel there is a DPAR but they state is a conectivity issue causeing the port to lock up.

Make sure you haven't created duplicate ip addresses for the iPocket. Also be sure the connection protocol is Net-Linked.

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

Or, if the hotel has a flat network that the 3300 is on, there could be a device on the network with the same IP address as the iPocket. Power down the iPocket. Then ping the IP address and see if you get replies. If you do, another device on the network is using that IP address.

This has been fixed. It was a combination of bad info on the serial port settings on the PMS and a bad serial cable (same one used to the Express Manager VM Card) and the mitel issue with port 6830 locking up requireing a reset of the 3300 to clear.
Thanks for your help

THX for the update. Always nice to know if issues are resolved or not, and how...
