PMS Opera system

I have a customer installing a new PMS system and we are using a 7400A data mod as our interface to the Opera system.
We can see data flow between the Definity and Opera system but the PBX is not updating its database with information entered into the Opera PMS.

Does the 'List PMS Down' show updating or reasons why it is not updating?
Did they use the 'GuestWorks® and DEFINITY®
Enterprise Communications Server

book to do the installation?
Try busying the PMS link, then use the attdt console to check a room out or in, then release the link. Then see if the PBX is updating now.

If you have a mini-data tester put it in line and make sure that send/recv are good and you are getting DTR from the PMS. Then verify communication parameters.

Opera should use Transparent, not sure if ASCII or not.

The protocol was set to transparent and ASCII N.
The problem turned out to be the baud rate settings in the 7400A. The Opera PMS is working great.
