IPO Ver 10 - Embedded Voicemail

Hi all,

I've posted this question before but had it come up again. I'm interested to see everyone's thoughts.

The client is a school. The principal wants parents to be able to access the teachers extension but not during classes. Is their a way to have AA send parents direct to a Teachers mailbox during class times and ring during all other times?

I'm also interested in any suggestions on how other installers might approach this.

NB: I know VoicemailPro could do it but that s not an option for this site.

Have two different auto attendants, one for during class and one for after class. Have a time profile or button control which auto attendant you hit. During class hours the selectors go to the teachers voicemail and after class it rings the extensions.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Great. How do set Dail Action 2 to go direct to a teachers mailbox? Their are 30 teachers.

We use User Rights and a time profile.

I am with budbyrd here
set time profiles for the teachers extensions and forward them all unconditionally to voicemail (#extension) but without internal calls enabled.
After hours enable a time profile that blocks all forwarding

Thanks guys. Worked perfectly with the User Rights and Time Profiles.

I know you are going to say you have to make up your mind but I'm going to ask anyway.

When I have the Time Profile activate DND in the User Right it is stopping Internal and External calls from reaching the extension. Is their a way to receive Internal calls but still send External calls to DND?

If they're 200 - 299 extns for example, add 2xx to the DND exceptions list
