Does anyone know of a way to take the speed dials from one PC and place them on another?? Any possible way of exporting them??
This would be very helpful while I am upgrading to new Pc's

Thanks,
Jason

The speeddials is stored in the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Avaya\IP400\PhoneManager\ListViewSpeed2

Export that key, and then import it on the new maschine.

Thank you for that... Very Very Helpful.. Except I think it is stuggling casue I Exported from a PC with a older version of Phone Manager... So it did nto import them all properly.. Probably would work fine if both machines were running the same version.

Thanks,
Jason

Depending on the version, the newer phone manager pro speed dials are stored in the user's My Documents folder (My Documents\Avaya\IP 400\PhoneManager\Profile).

I copied all the files into the new users directory (My Documents\Avaya\IP 400\PhoneManager\Profile) and modified the xml [EXT#].xml to change the username and also the userid.ini to update where the file is stored (may not be necessary).

Also I started Phone Manager first before doing anything and had it create a default profile before overwriting and editing it.

Probably took me about 5 minutes, but I had 5 tabs setup with about 50 users who each had multiple phone numbers.

V3.p PhoneManagers added an option to save & restore these settings.
Configure/Profile & select Load or save profile
