You can email your questions directly to Veritas technical support at helpdesk@support.veritas.com. They respond to most questions within 24 to 36 hours. This way you are getting the answers directly from the company.
I know about the netware version- others are similar; Go into the backup client console, choose the Commands menu. Select restore- pick the items to restore the same as you would pick the items to back up. Follow the prompts.
