How can I get .pcx files to open in VB?

PcxView only half does the job - only gray scale and doesn't open up all pcx file types.

Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks

The Kodak Image Edit control supports PCX files. It should be in Project / Components. See if that will work for you.

Nah it's not there. I've done a search on the web and can't seem to come across it for download either.

Hmm. A short search using Google I found that the Kodak controls are loaded as part of windows, not when you load VB6. This may only be true for Win98 ( which I am using ). One page says that XP does not install them. Other pages say that these controls do not play well with Windows ME. What version do you have?

Win 98 SE
It's definetely not in the list of components in VB6.

the Kodak controls are not available if your using WinXP :(
I have followed the forums on Kodak about the prob and as of yet no solution other than a long drawnout explaination about how to install them if the user has upgraded to XP from an earlier version of Windows

Ok I've got them now - thanks.

Just had to install Imaging included on the 98 cd.
