I have taken over maintenance of an older Hicom 3x3 that is equipped with a VT100 terminal. All standard changes like COS can be achieved without a ROOT password. Certain functions like assigning / changing PERSI information is achieved by enetering the password HICOM when prompted. However, I now need to add a flag to FEASU to force PIN dialling and require a higher level password than HICOM. Any help would be welcome.

No chance. You can only ask someone who the other password. hicom is the highest level in standard. If it´s changed there is no way to override it. In that case alredy systems will be generated complete new from a empty harddisk. If you have the right to execute the amo regen, mayby you have luck and can get a complete amo-file for regenereting. I guess, you have a very old version, because you have the old login-concept.
Maybe there is already the amo cron on youre system and you can execute it. Then you can execute the verbose amos over this way, because cron executes amos with the highest level. That is complete crazy but Siemens says, that not a bug, only a security-problem by the administrator, if he not watch to the rights of this amo.

Have a lot of fun with this
Bye
