Got a service call from a new customer w/exisiting Partner and Partner mail. The admin box is gone. I am unable to make the requested changes. Tried the backdoor way and the system just does not recognize the box. Does ANYONE know how to get the box back w/out having to default the system. Thanks for any help.

If you hook a laptop to the serial port on the voicemail, you can get a list of mailboxes. I dont recall if it will show which is the admin or not. Wortha try though.

I am sorry. I should have been more specific. It is the internal mail. The PCMCIA card. If you got any more suggestions for this I would greatly appreciate it. Someone told me it was not 99# but 0# is that correct?

The System Administrator logs in under 0# for the Partner Voice Messaging and the Avaya Partner Messaging. 99# is the System Administrator login for the Partner Mail VS.

It is a Partner Voice Messaging. The 0# is correct but the reset password does not work. Any ideas there? Thanks for your help

Passwords are not permitted to be given out on the board, but if you search hard enough you should find the one for that voice mail.

Is there more than just one reset password? I have seen two, both of which are the same as far as numbers go on the dial pad. Thanks for your help!!

If you're an Authorized Business Partner, call your Distributor. If you're an end-user, contact your Business Partner and have them contact the Distributor. They'll help with the default passwords.
