I recently purchased a Partner ACS 5.0 module to replace an older Partner II processor. The board won't plug into the middle slot of the 5-slot carrier because the ACS edge connector doesn't have a slot like the older Partner II board and interferes with the connector in the carrier. Do I need to purchase a new 5-slot carrier or is there a work around. Any additional advise would be appreciated.

Remove the clear plastic cover over the edge connector on the new ACS processor prior to installation.

if you have and old style carrier you need to remove the hold clip for the module just cut it off so it straight, then the ACS will sit straight

Thanks for the feedback. The board is in the system and functional..All that is left is the programming.
