Partner Controller loosing programming.

I have an older Partner 4.0 controller that looses its programming when unplugged for any time at all. Does it have a battery and if so how do you get the cover apart to replace it?

its a battery pack soldered on the PC board

to open the clam shell use a small screwdriver and follow the arrows on the lots

Well I found an old 206 module and was able to get it apart with only one tong broken. It has a rechargeable batter so I assume that my ver 4 controller does. Question is will I be able to find a replacement for it. Looks like I will probably need a soldering iron for mine as well - if it is the same as this 206.
