I have a customer with a new PARTNER 6.0 processor supposedly presetup for T1 from my vender. We placed the T1 card in slot #1, used pc admin software to program it.
We finally got a working configuration between us and the telephone company, But...any call that is not picked up by the AA (first ring) or a quick attendant (lines not going to AA) fall off imeadeately. I have tried without success
to get help from the telco. My vender who is technically "johnny on the spot" has been little help.
The T1 works well except for that. Any suggestions would be appreciated. GilGilmore

Brian, is this right? to use a T1 Module the card has to be a R6.04...? Most I've read just stated it has to be a 6.0. Mind you, I don't know??? Do you suppose Avaya.com will confirm this. I've been up-grading customers to R6 for this purpose. (future) My most recent cards are all R6.0.03.

Thanks in advance

I left the office early today to vote, but I'll check tomorrow morning to verify the correct release for a T1. Seems I remember that the lower release R6 is very buggy when using a T1 module. I'll let you know as soon as I find out more info.

The flash upgrade for R6.0 is a free upgrade from Avaya for all Business Partners to make the processor a 6.0.4.. There is also a T-1 card flash upgrade (this upgrades the firmware on the T-1 card). If your Venor cannot do this for you then you need a new Vendor.
