Panasonic KX-TD816 and MF Tones

[SMBC2010]

We have a site that has a KX-TD816 and KX-TVP50 voice processing system with 2x ISDN2 provided.

Customer controlled call forwarding has been enabled on the lines but when the activation codes are entered from any of the handsets the line isn't recognising it.

The network provider is adamant that the call forwarding is active and as they're ISDN 2 we've no way of connecting directly to the line and checking.

We're wondering if the handsets are not sending the * and # tones to the line, hence why the codes aren't being recognised.

Is this a possibility / likely?

Unfortunately the company that provided the maintenance have gone bust so the kit isn't currently maintained.

Any help / tips would be appreciated

the tda system does require you to turn off use # as end dial on isdn to use the services, I had a look on the td 816 and cant see it, we normaly get the system to transfer the call to external line as Eircom charge you every time you turn it on and off

Normally if you push * on the digital telephone you will hear busy tone.
Solution is:
put a dss key with desired code
PROG 99
PUSH DSS
PUSH 89
PUSH DESIRED SERVICE CODE by example *12345#
record and save
See your country user telephone manual

If your using Eiecom then your in Ireland and using the UK version of the software.

The forward extenal setting is

Press sp phone
press rwd/dnd
Dial 69
dial phone Number
Dial #

press sp phone

that will forward the call out as long as the DDI or
main ISDN Channel is ring direct to the reception phone
( or 1 Phone )only.
