Page Header and Page Footer problem 1

How can I display a design of the page header and page footer on the the first page and following pages with a different design of page header and page footer?Pls help. Thanks in advance!

Hi !

If you right click on your Header and Footer section you can "Insert Section Below".
In the new sections you make your new design.
After thet you have to format both Page Header a and Page Header b section (as well as your footer a and b sections).

Click on the "x+2" button to the right of the "Suppress" check box.
For your Page Header a you write this:
PageNumber > 1

and for Page Header b this:
PageNumber = 1

And then you do the same for your Page Footer.

My approach would be to create subsections of the Page header and footer....As many as you need

Then In SubsectionA in the conditional suppress in the Section expert I would have the formula

pagenumber <> 1

this means that the subsection would be supperssed unless the page number was #1

similarly for subsection B

pagenumber <> 2

remember to apply the formula to both the header and footer
