I have an MS Access mdb file that has VB modules and macro on it. When I try to access the grreturn.mdb application file it gave me an error "P:\application\grrtables.mdb is not a valid path. Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and you are connected to the server where the files resides".. How or where can I change the path in the grreturn.mdb file?
The P:\application\grrtables.mdb no longer exists and I have copy the grrtables.mdb file to my C: I appreciate anybody can tell me where to change the path in MS Access. Thanks.

On the Tools menu, select Database Utilities, Linked Table Manager.

When the Link window appears, check Always prompt for new location in the lower left corner, then click on the Select All button.

Another window will open asking you to browse to the backend database. Navigate to it, highlight it and click Open.

That will re-establish the links to the tables in a database in a new location.

If you don't have the Linked Table Manager, you will need to install it.

Hope this helps,

Vic
