I have an IPOffice 3.1R and trying to figure out how to change the setting to pick up an outside line from a 9 to an 8. I see the 9 in the list of short codes but when I change it to an 8 it doesn't work. Any suggestions on where I should be looking to change this setting?

Chances are, there's more than (1) short-code related to "9" that you'll need to change. It sounds like you changed the secondary dial-tone short-code, but you will also need to change each of the dial short-codes. These appear as [9]N;, [9]1N;, [9]01N;, and so on depending upon how your IP Office is programmed.
