Hi there all, thanks in advance for taking the time to read this.

I work in IT and one of our duties is supporting the PBX. We have a NEAX 2000 IPS. I have a user who discovered that all calls originating from an outside source and that get transferred from the auto attendant go straight to her voicemail. If you dial her DID number you do not get routed to the voicemail. I have checked all of the E6** commands in MOC and none of them indicate anything amiss. Any ideas? If more info is needed please feel free to ask. thanks

If this system has an NEC voice mail, have the user log into their mailbox and go to set up options. Then navigate thru the menu until you get to "transfer and delivery options". Once there the first option is "transfer to your work phone" and it will say it's turned off or on. If it's off the auto attd. will not transfer a call to the extension. If it's on of course it will tranfser the caller to the extension. Right after it asks this info it will tell you the extension number it is transferring to. Oh and remember it's 1 for yes and 2 for no while your answering questions from the voice mail.

Good Luck!!

Hey Mercury that did the trick!! Thanks a bunch. She has no idea how she changed that setting, but I can just imagine a board receptionist flipping through settings randomly selecting things. Thanks again for your help.
