Dear all,

Anyone ever encountered this above-mentioned problem?

We are running on MS Outlook 97. A few users reflected that their outgoing emails stucked at their OUTBOX after they had click SEND.

Problem is usually solved after rebooting the PC and restarting the MS Outlook. After a few days, problem comes back again.

Anyone has better ways to solve this once and for all?

Thank you.

Regards,
Choon : )

I remember having this problem on a few machines a few years ago...when we upgraded Outlook the problem went away :)

Hi Sha,

Thank you.
Will heed your advice to try to upgrade to Outlook 2000.
However, the concern may be the licensing which I am worried.

It's how to remove damaged messages from MS Exchange outbox (i.e. Outlook)

I have found recently that I had the same problem. It was because I am now on a cable network and I still have a dial-up service that I "Pop" the mail through this cable service. The cable service will not allow me to send e-mail through the dial-up service. (If I simply choose to reply to the e-mail from the dial-up service, it automatically selects the e-mail outgoing mailbox as the one associated with the dial-up service.) When I changed my "From" name to the one that I use with the cable service, the e-mail was able to be sent.

Check and see if you can select different e-mail "From" id's. If you can, select the "From" that you normally use when you send your e-mail .

Hope this works.
