Have a client who wants the following delivery and blocking of CLI across a primary rate ISDN (etsi Australia). The primary rate has DID capability with 100 range.

1/ Be able to Select one of several key system keys programmed on a 5330 to make calls that will deliver the key system number to the network. This is the easy enough and resolved by enabling COS option "Non-Prime Public Network Identity" and adding key system numbers in CPN substitution form and indexing against Primary rate cct.

2/ The challenge..... For the above device, the exact opposite for the prime line, it must be blocked from delivering CLI of any kind, eg unknown / blocked number.

The client doesn't want spearate dialling codes to perform task, just be able to select the key system key or prime line.

I don't know if you can block total cli delievery in CPN Substitution form. Generally numbers not configured in CPN form deliver the default primary rate number.

Any ideas???

This is possible by using the Outgoing Call Characteristics. If you change these from Fixed to Call by Call.
Add the appropriate digits to dial as it is now. You have probably now a ARS Digit Mod in use and you should insert {090}.

Create 1 or more routes with the only difference that this will use {091}.
Calls dialed via routes with {090} will have CLI info shown and calls dialed via {091} will have no CLI presented at the other side.

This can be created simply by 9 or 0 for "normal"outside line and press a key to have other digit string to dial out for no CLI calls.

Do you need to take into consideration whether they are using LD account coding provided by the telco?

Thanks for ideas

Am trying to achieve a very dumb solution without the need of alternate ars access or LD account codes. Sumple put, press the key system or prime line keys. The clients wants a very simple approach to ensure no accidental results.

I don't think its possible without implementing processes such as you suggested.

Hence why I was lookimg at CPN substituion form area. Obviusly its possible to manipulate what CLI goes out, change default CPN or otherwise. I thought it might be posible to block individual DNs somehow rather than substitute.

Blocking the Prime is not going to happen as long as you require the key system lines to display.

You can send any number you like (that your Telco allows) but a number will be sent.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Thanks kwbmitel

Its what I suspected, tis an all or nothing situation.

A pity that the CPN substitution form doesn't have a capability to block individual numbers..........

I have achieved similar reults to what you require by setting up new ARS routes that add 1831 to the call as it is sent to line.
Particular exts are then given a cos that only allows them to use those ARS routes .

the Ars routes use the same trunk group , its only the Digit mod table that is different for the call.
Not sure if cor of the prime line would also be used when dialling from the key system line though?

Thanks Billz66

Could you expand upon suggestion. What COS option are you referring too?

As Kwbmitel suggests there is no way of separating virtual DNs from the associated prime DN, they are tied together in regard to delivery of cli

I acknowledge points in regard to setting up of 1831 in digit mod form and then creating say two group of routes eg 1-6 pointing to digit mod entry with 1831 and the 2nd group, 11-16 point to a blank dig mod entry table.

Fairly standard stuff requiring a different leading digit code to get to the respective group of routes. And even then if the dessignated cli deliver lead digit is dialled from the prime, cli will be delivered.
