Out of Memory/Restart

BCM450 gets Out of Memory error, and reboots several times daily.

What exactly does this mean, and how do I resolve it?

Do you have rcc reporting.

Check to see if it's been installed on another PC.
Two of these running together can cause out of memory issue

We do use RCC, I will check around.. but as far as I know its only been installed on a single computer.

That's what my last customer told me.

But we eventually found they installed it again on another machine because they thought it was the only way to see the reports for another user.

They were supposed to use IE and browse to the IP address .

That's what we do is just browse to the IP address.

I think we made some progress yesterday, identifying that we had both the Ethernet and the maintenance ports connected to our LAN.

We had the maintenance port connected as we used the Ethernet port for the VOIP vlan.

I am enabling 802.1q today and trunking and so far we are good.
