Hi Again guys,

Quite had a issues here really need to resolve :)

I have my OSBIZ X8 which is currently experiencing some CUT CALLS Inbound & Outbound.
Thing is, they are using a ANALOG TRUNKS(12 trks) and with the capability of PILOT TRUNKING/HUNTING.

I have already isolated the issue by replacing cards, swap slots and even replacing the CABINET and MAIN BOARD. But still CUT CALLS exist
Tried also disconnecting all 12 trunks to our pabx side and directly connect it to analog phones. Still CUT CALLS exist.

Now we are trying to look the issue on the Voltage quality of these trunks. And i also notice on the Maintenance>TRUNK ERRORCOUNTER that there are so many "FIFO UNDERFLOW" on each port of my trunk. What does this "FIFO UNDERFLOW" really means? Is it something connected with the cut calls that currently experience?

Did the system work proper in any time?

Please first of all check the S-numbering on the TMANI cards, there are several cards for different systems and countries.

Please post the s-number here than we can check that issue.

Hi techgipsy :)

Yes it is working. Instances is that there are times that during peak hours (9am to 10am) plenty of cut calls are being experienced both inbound and outbound.
We tried to replace our TMANI Card into TM2LP card before. But still CUT CALLS exist.

Im from Philippines, before the system is PH country settings, but for now we tried to change it into Australia country settings. But still CUT CALLS Exist. Here's the TMANI part no. S30810-Q2327-X.

did you try international version ? There you have the most possibilities that the system works properly.

Be aware that e.g. the tones are different, but you can change them afterwards.

the siemens numbering of the s-number is as follows,

first s.... tells you the system
Q is the board itsedlf
X and the digits after X is the country specifics

I can check the tmani s# after I´m back in the office, late afternoon german time.

Ok, standard TMANI, you have check the country specific datas after reload the system with IM code (international market).
Where do you run the sytsem (country) with standard pstn line ?

I don't remember if it is in COT or COP, but there are also call supervision settings that might need some tweaking. That is how the system keeps track of call status, when disconnect occurs, etc...

Hi Tech,

I am from PH. Before we are running the system in PHILIPPINES country settings, but just to try if it will help. We tried to change it into AUSTRALIA country settings. Since we have a client also here in the PH that is using an X8 also under this settings and using an analog trunk which is capable also of Pilot trunking and no issues at all.

Because there is the main country paameter to set the Philipine datas, you should use these settings and test it with them.
Probably the Australia settings for the TMANI will work also, but Siemens / Unify have tested these settings before they sell such systems.

You can change all parameters under "lines" yourself, but it will be a long working and testing day - and it will be not more than trying...because you don´t know (from where?) the correct settings itself.

If you want, I can take a look on your KDS if you send it to me (please with the standard password).
Send it, if you want, to cemigsarl@aol.com

regards

Jo
