OSBiz X8 CABINETS

Hi,

I have an X8 Main Cabinet with Expansion Cabinet.
Question is, is it okay if the Main cabinet is an X8 Cabinet and will be connected to a Expasion cabinet which is from a Hipath 3800 Expansion cabinet?

you can only connect one single expansion cabinet to your main cabinet.

Yes i know that. The question is that is it okay to have Osbiz X8 system having the Main Cabinet as an X8 New Cabinet and the expansion box is only a Hipath 3800 "EXPANSION CABINET"

Hallo Hertz,
sorry, I haven´t read the question correctly.
Of course it is OK, if you upgrade a Hipath 3800 you will get only the new motherboard OCCL and all the boards (mostly) can taken over. The hardware of the cabinets are the same in differnt colours.
