This is probably an easy fix, but I’ve been hunting for a solution forever and can’t seem to find one. Any condiment added to an item via required condiments always outputs with the "Add" prefix. I can’t figure out how to make it stop saying "Add" every time. For example, meat temperatures always display as "Add Medium Rare" instead of just "Medium Rare." I’ve tried changing the main and sub-level settings both in the class and the RVC, but nothing seems to work. Thanks for your help!

Hey Jimbob,
Go to the Menu Item Class for the condiment and check the "Condiment Prefix Type." Make sure it's set to "Not a Prefix."
I've had this problem before and I'm like 99% sure this was the fix.

Let me know if that fixes things.
Thanks,

Sorry for the late reply I have been sick the past few days. I appreciate your response, but unfortunately, that's not the issue, all my group are set to not a prefix. Any other ideas? I have also tried messing with Menu Level Sets option to no avail. This is how I have the condiment class set up. I also tried changing the menu level popups and the menu levels they are available to.

in menu item class options you should take off support prefix

Thanks for the reply. I do not have that option enabled. I don't know if this helps, but I have also figured out that it is only happening when any group is a required condiment. If it is just allowed it acts as normal.

Sorry for the delay.
Alright I just got into my lab and tested this all out again with my "Meat Temps" cond group. It is a required group for one of my entrees. It's showing up on the check view and on the kitchen chit without any "add" or anything else. Attached is how I have it set up in the meat temps condiment MIClass.

I wouldn't think the parent MIC would change anything. But test with these settings and let me know.
Thanks,
