I have an Axxess customer migrating to MCD. They currently use T1 (non-PRI) cards in the Axxess systems configured as T1/ESF/B8ZS, with the channels configured as (24) OPX (dialable) extensions. The cards are connected to their conferencing bridge. The OPX extensions are HG members in the CONF BRIDGE Hunt Group, which internal users dial directly, and outside users call a DID pointed to the HG.

I am not seeing any OPX options in the 3300 T1 programming or documentation. I thought I had a 5000/3300 networking doc that would help, but it's networking via SIP, not OPX. Any ideas, direction, or help is greatly appreciated.

As far as I can find out there is no such thing in the MCD platform. When you ask Mitel people about OPX, FXO and FXS their eyes get glassy, jaws get slack and some drool. Then they tell you there is no such thing and you are wrong about how what you are doing now works.

Good luck.

What needs to be dialed?

This seems fairly straight forward, seize a trunk and dial digits. ARS will do that, what's the problem?

I was able to network the 3300 and the Conference Bridge Server via direct P2P T1 connectivity by using the "Mitel PBX interface with Conferencing Server Configuration Notes" document. I used the T1/D4 example word for word, except I set Voice Encoding to "Nil". Invert setting caused distorted audio. Issue resolved, THX all!

the Nil vs invert pertains to whether you have an NSU or Embedded Module. Based on your solution, the doc was for an NSU and you have embedded.

Didn't think it would be too difficult, I've set up several fax servers via T1.
