trying to display, add/cha dialed numbers on a optiset E key Module connected to a Optiset E advance plus
any help would be appreciated

On what system??

Is the device currently programmed with numbers, or are all the keys blank?

On the 4000 in your station record your "Device Combination" has to be something like OptiAdv 1K, and then when you click the Indiv Key Layout button on the Basic 1 tab of assistant and it shows you the phone you will see a tab at the bottom for Add-on Device. That will be where the key programming can be displayed or changed.

If you are using expert mode/comwin you can use DIS-ZIEL to display the name keys or DSS keys. If you need to display line keys you can use DIS-KCSU for the extension number.

If you're using a 3000-based platform with Assistant, when you see the graphical image on the phone you should see another tab on the bottom for the add-on device. If you just put the device on there, again, when you set the phone type you have to indicate it has a key module on it, and then probably reset the phone (which should be unplugged when you add the key module anyway).

Hope that is close to what you need.

I use direct AMO in Procomm Plus telnet
it already has numbers programmed to it, I need to see and change them, our GUI for this switch no longer functions, thats why all programming is done in procomm

I have to think back to all of that stuff - I've been on the 4000 for 18 months now, but I had 16 years on 9006....

I believe you will use DIS-DEST to display the DSS and DDS keys that might be set up on that phone. Note that 9006 calls name/repdial keys "DDS" keys. DIS-DEST will also let you look at the forwarding assigned to the phone and etc....

DIS-KEPRO will let you look at the layout of the button tables.

DIS-KCSU and KASU will show you the line appearances on the phone and whether they are set to ring, and other preference settings. I forget which is which, but one shows the line appearances and the other one shows various setings about the phone, like which key is the prime line, etc....

To make changes you would do CHA-DEST, CHA-KEPRO, etc... I recommend you always display everything before you change it. That way if you screw it up you will know how it was before you started

yeah I can make any change to the Optiset E advance plus, but when wanting to do anything with the optiset E key Module I can't get anything to display
