I have an issue where the SIP trunk is down for receiving external calls.
The provider is continuously sending OPTIONS messages, but I notice that IP Office is not responding to them.
For this reason the provider is putting the trunk out of service.
Which is the right parameter to enable IP Office to acknowledge these OPTION messages please?

Thank you so much!

Thank you Okkie26...That is how I found out what is going on.
I receive alot of OPTIONS Rx from Povider, but IP Office does not acknowledges or respond to any of them.
For this reason provider is putting the circuit down thinking the system is not available.
I cannot seem to find the setting to get IP Office to respond to OPTIONS messages.
I tried all 3 settings in the field SIP Line > Refresh Method > Refresh timers..but none of the options triggered IP Office to reply to OPTION Messages.

Only thing I can think of is that SIP Trunk is disabled on the LAN is disabled, or sip option come in on the wrong lan port.

Routes are OK, because I can see all traffic towards provider is flowing from LAN2.
I had to ask the service provider to disable the OPTIONS message so that the circuit doesn't go down from their end.
There do not seem to be any control from IP Office SIP trunk settings to decide whether IP Office should respond to OPTIONS messages.

I can't think of a setting that would tell the IP Office to accept OPTIONS but what you can do is ask the SIP provider to stop sending OPTIONS and then you can instead send the OPTIONS yourself. Binding Refresh under Network Topology will send an OPTIONS at the specified interval.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

The IP Office will respond to OPTIONS, the reason it doesn't is that there is something wrong with the OPTIONS or trunk configuration.
