ALL YOUR GOING TO NEED IS THE POWER SUPPLY, AND THE SSC CARD POWER IT ON AND IT WILL BOOT UP IF THER EIS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE SSC

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS AND AVAYA

can you tell me how many phones a media gateway card holds, analog card , digital line card holds , and signaling server holds?

There are several types of media gateways, cabinet, chassis and 1010. What do you have? Each digital and analog line card gives you 16 ports.

You need to have licenses for anything you want to hang off it, once you have the power and the ssc card, power it up, log in and go to
ld 22 (at the prompt type) ISS
this will print out information that will help you/us determine what you have as far as release versions etc.
an easy way to see what licenses you have,If you go in to
LD 11
The header will consist of several lines of information including
DIGITAL TELEPHONES AVAIL:
This will tell you how many digital phones can be added to the system (# of licenses in effect)
Then you can go in to
LD 10
and do the same thing looking for
ANALOGUE TELEPHONES AVAIL:
There are other ways of getting license counts, but this will also give you other information you may need later.

Hope this helps.
