I have an Option 11C connected to an Option 81C with a PRI and can dial out fine from a phone off the 11C over the tie line to the PSTN. I have some type of Solantro router that my IT department is trying to hook and use for VoIP. I have a PRI from the 11C to the router NI2 with a DID & Tie service route. I am able to receive incoming calls to the router and also station to station calls. The problem is I cannot make outgoing calls across the PRI to the 81C. I have turned on D-Channel messaging and I am receiving the proper digits, but I receive reorder everytime. The NI2 tie route is setup with an NCOS of 6, the same as a phone set that I can use to dial out on with no problems. The problem seems to be with the tandem connection. Any ideas?

on your 81, does it reject the call, and show routing to reorder or is the 11 sending the call to reorder, as above pls post the msgi/msgo message from each switch.. also are you using dsc tsl lsc?..what routing are you using between the two switches, in the 11 i would turn on vacant number routing to the 81, the build cdp tables from the 81 to the 11

Didn't seem to have any luck with the NI2 integration, even Nortel Support could not seem to get it to work. We went with a DMS100 integration and it seems to be working fine.

Thanks for your assistance anyway.

I had the same problem getting an Opt 11 to work with a VoIP product with NI2 signalling. Ultimately, I built it as a TIE group running 5ESS.

Hi,

Had the same problem here. Look at the flip channel bit on the router configuration. Change the value and see what happens.
