Check for the obvious first, loose dongle, software cartridge ect. Make sure the PCMCIA cards are in their proper slots, ie haven't been reversed.

If its not working, get a bigger hammer!

Hi

Thank you for responding.

I have reseated the daughter boards, the memory, and the dongle. I have also checked the PCMCIA cards.

Same results.

Any other ideas?

Chris

I'm still leaning to a hardware problem somewhere. Bent pins, strapping jack missing. It doesn't seem logical that the data has gotten corrupted form shipping, unless it was ran through a scanner of some kind. May be some one else will have some other ideas.

Thank you

I have looked for bent pins, I have removed all cards except for the scc and the power supply.

Any ideas welcome and greatly appreciated.

Chris

What you need to try now is to reboot the Option 11c and press Ctrl I. Hopefully, you will go to a menu and press "3" for utilities and then I think "1" and "1" again followed by "Y" to copy across the backup database that is on the Z Drive or CPU SSC Card.

I've a number of cases where the main database is corrupted and you need to use the back up copy.

All the best
