The OPS Manager show error in the FTP files with the 3300 Mxe, how can I solve the problem????

I'm assuming you're trying to perform a backup via OpsManager. In the 3300, go to the Controller Registry Assignment form and make sure the 4 fields relating to OpsManager are configured correctly. Then make sure FTP services are up and running on the OpsManager server, and make sure the login/password that the 3300 is using works. 9 times out of 10, one of these things are the issue.

In addition to Lundahs suggestions you need to setup the mnms account and allow permissions as laid out in the install docs.

Backup Issues
Unable to Backup Systems - General

If using Windows 2000, ensure that MNMS has FTP access to the temp folder and the SX2000 directories that are located in the mitel/Opsman directory.

Using Windows Explorer, right click on each of the telephone system backup directories (these will be found in C:/program files/mitel/opsmanger/sx2000/backup/), navigate to Properties, Security, select the domain for the server, click Add, select the server PC name, select the MNMS user account, click Add, check the write box, and then click OK.

Backups will also fail if the Opsman Server Operating System Software is not English (The language can be set to English or French). All non-English Operating systems are not supported.

On 3300 ICP's, ensure that all the IP settings have been set in the controller registry and that NETWORK option is selected.

If replacing an MC3E card on an SX2000, then ensure that the IPCONFIG is programmed correctly.

Check with the end user to ensure that there is no firewall on the LAN. If there is a firewall, then they will have to allow certain ports for OPS Manager to run properly. Instructions are located on MOL in article 04-6778-00004.

Opsman data and Network element backups (SX2000's) may fail when McAfee Version 8 is installed on the Opsman server. You will see the entire SX2000 datasave if you browse to C\Program Files\Mitel\OPS Manager\SX2000\Backup\Data_Save\(Element Name), but it won't be zipped. This will most likely be caused by Antivirus software.
There is a setting in the Mcafee Onscan to exclude .tar extensions. This will allow OPS to zip the file and complete the backup successfully.
It has also been found that if McAfee Viruscan is installed for a basic installation i.e. only configured for antivirus and not email scanning, firewall, or active file checking, then the problems above do not occur.

It has also been reported, but not confirmed, that an Antirivus called Sophos can cause the same problems. Please advise Product Support if you find this problem.

Unable to Backup Systems - Windows Error
Windows may report that an Unexpected Error 0x8007c801 has occurred. This error advises that the Allow Anonymous Connections check box is not selected and the user name for anonymous access is missing.

Unable To Backup Systems - On 3300 ICP
On a 3300 ICP the Datasave backup can be run from the Opsman command line. This will allow failure logs to be trapped and these will assist design in locating the problem.
The instructions below advise on how to run the backup.
This example shows the Network Editor name as Ipbx09 - substitute the real Network Editor name for the bolded names below (please start dbmon.exe first).

C:\Program Files\Mitel\OPSManager\BIN\adbrhdlr.exe -v -t datasave_without_vm -n Ipbx09 -d "C:\Program Files\Mitel\OPSManager\SX2000\backup\Data_Save\Ipbx09"

Unable To Backup OPS Manager Data
Ensure that if McAfee Viruscan Version 8 is installed on the server that it is a basic installation i.e. only configured for antivirus and not email scanning, firewall, or active file checking.
Backups to hard and floppy drives will either completely fail or say they have failed.

FTP Issues
Checking that the Opsman FTP is running
Check:-

1. In "control panel - administrative tools - computer management - services and applications - services".
2. In "applications - internet information services - FTP sites - default FTP site".

How To Check That FTP Is Working
This section advises you on how to check FTP without using OPS Manager.

To check the FTP on a 3300 is functioning

1. Open a DOS window.
2. Go to the C:/ prompt.
3. Type ftp xx.xx.xx.xx (where xx.xx.xx.xx. is the IP address of the switch in question).
4. Type username of switch.
5. Type password of switch.
6. Type ls (this will list files and directories).
7. Locate the file named _swrevs or find a specific file (the command CD will change the directory).
8. Type bin.
9. Type hash.
10. Type get _swrevs or any file name that exists (your choice).
11. Type bye to close the FTP client when finished.

The _swrevs file should now be found on C:/

To check the FTP account on Opsman

1. Open a DOS window.
2. Type ipconfig (to find the IP address of the server).
3. Type ftp xx.xx.xx.xx (where xx.xx.xx.xx is the IP address of the Opsman Server).
4. Type Opsman FTP account username (default = nmns).
5. Type Opsman FTP account password (default = mx2000).
6. Type bye to close the FTP client when finished.

If accepted then the account is valid.

To Check the FTP on a SX2000
On the SX2000 files can be transferred from the SX2000 command line.
The command line is as follows:

sxtov *.maintenance.session_log "/ps/session_log" (where ps is a directory residing on the Opsman server.

To build a session log follow the commands below:

session start
version
session end

The above builds a file called session_log.

Star awarded for degree of detail. Looks like another good candidate entry for the FAQ

Degree of Detail, holy smoke, I'm not sure if the manual is that detailed.

Kudos M1Tel, glad you have the time, I sure don't.
