Hi To All...

Its Posible To Transfer The "0" Operator Call By Using Normal Extension? I mean When "0" Operator Call The Normal Extension 3000 Then Extension 3000 Want To Transfer The "0" Operator To Other Extension 3001?

Alex Miclat

Not possible. because ATT have priority on the call.

Can you Explain it? and why the normal extension there is no priority on the call?

Alex Miclat

That's a Nortel design Intent that the Operator have priority. If attendant is not a M2250, then no more priority.

when you print the dnb 0, what does it show? does it ring at ext 3000 now?

You are using a 2250 operator console. You may as well think of it as the telephone GOD. It has priority on every call it makes or receives. A normal telephone can NOT transfer the call away from it.

the best way (only?) to have calls forward from the 2250 to a non 2250 is usally nit_data.. when all consoles are in the night mode.. calls that normally ring the console will now ring at the nit target... and the post is right, call the operator and try to hang up on her.. the 2250 has to release for you to get dialtone back..
