Usually to get to the BIOS when you start the machine it will tell you what to press to Enter Setup (Esc, F1, etc...). Press whatever it tells you to and then you will get into the BIOS.
That's it, but you need to enter the CMOS and see if your hard drive is being detected. You can make sure the primary master or slave or secondary master/slave are turned on to Auto detect or Detect the HD automatically within the CMOS settings.

Hello again...
Yesterday I re-plugged the cable and worked whole day.
Today I am turning PC on and see Disk read error...Press Ctr+Alt+Delete to restart.
So I did few times and no luck.
Once Windows XP started CHKSCN something and it found corrupted files and it started deleting them
messages were:
Deleting duplicate ID segment 243567
Deleting duplicate ID segment 243568
Deleting duplicate ID segment 243569
Deleting duplicate ID segment 243570
etc
but at the end message was
Unsufficient disk space to insert index entry
