Hello all
My Openscape X8 Can not forward call to external by *11 external prefix + destination number, screen show access denied.
I compare with another system that can be use with this feature but can't find the difference.
Who ever met this problem. please suggess me.

There is a parameter in the COS of the station that allows for call forward eternal. Most implementations don't enable that by default, or they have a separate COS for those who can and cannot forward external. That is in your feature COS, not the LCRCOS.

Hi donb01
Station COS Unrestricted. Station can call to external but can't us call forward only. Which parameter that you suggest to check. I can't find it.

Something like EXTCFW or CFWEXT - there might be 2 of them. I'm not at work so I can't look till tomorrow :)

I believe FWDNWK is "Forward Network" and FWDEXT is either forward to Extension or Forward External. I suspect it's FWDNWK if you don't have that in your COS. Both of them are on the Voice1 tab of the COS table.

If using the web access, in expert mode, basic settings, system flags, check 'through connection for external forward' and also scroll down to the transit settings and check they are all ticked. It's under system parameters, flags in Manager E.

Sorry, I misread the original post and assumed it was an OpenScape Business.

13 is to allow forwarding to External Destinations also

Hi donb01 (IS/IT--Management)
I can not find menu that you say , May be not the same system. I use Openscape business X8

Hi cody64 (Vendor)
Aleady done. Still can not. Phone screen show access denined

Hi sbcsu (TechnicalUser)
Already change but still can not.

My bad - I assumed it was Openscape 4000 V8.... In that case it would be configuration manager - tables - COS.

Dumb question - I assume you have a COS with the proper values. Is the phone assigned to that COS for both Day/Night or COS1/COS2?

I am also speaking based on the 4000 again, but in the 4000 they also have FEASU which is the systemwide list of enabled features, and I believe that is also one of the features that can be turned on or off across the whole system. I don't know if the OSB has a similar functionality to that. Can you do DIS-FEASU; ?? If so you should see a list of features that are activated or deactivated.

Hi donb01 (IS/IT--Management)
I aleady change COS Day / Night to COS 14 Unrestricted COS. I Think it have some parameter must fix but can not find it.

Is there possibly a different feature code for call forward to external?

Hi thepfy (IS/IT--Management)
This use the same feature Code.

Try it from a display phone, put in *1 and follow the prompts - as far as I remember there was a decision to be made regarding internal or external

Hi All ,
This already solved. First LCR is set to 9C-XXZ then I change to 9C-02XXXZ / 9C-03XXXZ / 9C-04XXXZ
Thanks for all of your advises.
