We have a CM 6.2 and just installed OneX Attendant for our console. We provided a wireless headset, (Plantronics WO2), but after a couple hours, she went back to using her handset due to frustration with the headset. The problem is, she has to have her headset "off" during the first incoming call. Then when the first call comes in, she needs to press her headset button on her 9611 hard phone, then press the "on" button on her headset, then the answer button on the console, and only when this first incoming call is ringing on line 1 of her 9611. Otherwise, the headset doesn’t work.

After the first call is disconnected via the OneX, she cannot hang up the 9611's first line. Otherwise she has to repeat the procedure above. If she goes on bathroom break, lunch or anything that causes her to step away, she has to repeat the procedure above to start her headset working again. I cant blame her for drop kicking the headset, but hoping someone has a suggestion which may be more appealing??

Thanks much in advance!

Joe

Opps, I stand corrected. My headsets are Savi 740. ...Joe

You could use the "set headsys" option in the 46xxsettings.txt,with auto-answer, reducing it to 1 action

Be aware there is a bug in that for some versions though, described in : PSN003484u
We noticed similar behaviour on the IPO, even with wired headset's now, where the headset-button isn't properly 'dropped' when controlled through One-X portal, or other CTI.
That was reported to Avaya as a bug.
Using a seperate Headsetlifter? (like a HL/10)?

Thanks for this info. Is it possible to option the 46xxsetting for just the OneX soft consoles and not the users who also use the same headset?

Thanks
Joe
