96xx always say one-x on them it's the range of phones they belong to, it's not that they are part of the one-x quick edition telephone system (at least I've never seen one), so they just need to be moved onto IP Office firmware in the normal fashion i.e clear any settings and then direct it to the IP Office and it will flash itself to the correct firmware as you would a 46xx

is there anything i should change in the manager programming?
ip office 406v2 5.0.15 (just have it set up as a test unit before we install it)
everything is default....but i did set my PC to 192.168.42.20 as i have all the other ip addresses set to 192.168.42.20 in the system option/system tab
To make it work, you need to stick a compact flash card in the system and use Manager to do a "Upload phone files" to the card and then set the IP Office LAN1 address as file server, i have never got a 96xx to work any other way
