One-X VM Browser Playback BROKEN!

Running One-X 7.0.14 on windows 2008 standard with latest R7 VMpro.
Have all necessary licenses and users configured.
Installed IIS6/compat/metabase etc etc etc before installing VMPRO to get the UMS web component to install. Then did one-x. Everything is A-OKAY, however when you try to play back VM from one-x you get:
"Cannot play back message as the voicemail web service is not configured."
Uh, YES, it is!
I ran the logging with the Apache Chainsaw and it (one-x) does this:

VM WEB URL for IIS availability :

http://servername:8000/VoicemailAccounts/Username/wavhash(this

is actually a big hash).wav

Connection refused: connect

http://servername:8000/VoicemailAccounts/Username/wavhash(this

is actually a big hash).wav

is IIS Available : false


Its all very confusing. IIS is there, its running...it seems to be FINE as

http://servername

will bring up the default iis page.

wtf!? I've uninstalled, reinstalled vmpro/one-x about 8 times today and its still friggin broken!

can i haz help plz?

Are you able to telnet to servername on port 8000? That will help you see if the web server is even accepting connections on port 8000.

Yep, telnetting worked.
If I go to

http://servername:8000/VoicemailAccounts/Username/wavhash.wav

it will give me a file so its definitely serving up files. It just dosen't want to work through one-x.
