I have a site with a single one-X attendant console off CM 6.0.1. Can anyone tell me what should happen if the PC was to fail. I would have thought the CM would automatically detect the failure and go into night service but it doesn't. Calls to the attendant simply get no reply although night service work fine when manually invoked. Thanks, Paul.

One resolution would be to use an attendant vecter that will route the call if there are no ataendants to queue to or after a predetermined time.

I have seen this this problem too. Couldnt find anything which onex to fix it however I put a coverage answer group on the attendant console which rings to the physical station then voicemail. Seems to cater for PC situation.
In this example there are Attd VDN/Vec queuing to the Attd Group.

Thanks both for your help. What I have done is provide a night service key on a telephone near the console. In the event of the console PC failing the CM can then be manually put into night service as it seems there is no way this can happen automatically.
