Hello All;

I've been locked out of my original account and have been forced to create a new one... painful!

IPO 500 @ 10.0
preferred & v/m pro.

The client wants to be able to press 1 button and have the other 4 managers called into a conference call.

I've been searching through the meet me conferencing but have only been able to see questions relating to inbound callers & creating passwords/pins.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Sorry, must not have been clear enough.

The 1 manager wants to press 1 button and have the system ring out to the other 4 managers & engage them all in a conference call.

If they were responsible enough to call in this wouldn't be an issue... but this is what was requested.

Alright, I'm thinking this through and my question is really... can I have a user press 1 button and have the voicemail pro initiate 4 separate calls.
I should be able to get those calls transferred into the same meet me conference, however, this seems like my first step.

Thanks,

I don’t think you can do that.

I will assume the calls will be internal users

You can set up a conference room using soft console to dial multiple users.
But they still have to manually answer the call and accept the conference.

You could try to create a page button to call A page group of all 4 uses and request them to dial the conference meet me shortcode

Simple method is as derfloh has stated..

You can programme the button on each phone with the meet me shortcode so as they have only one button to press

The users are internal but I was going to twin to their cells in case they don't happen to be at their desk.

Each end user will have to answer their call but was thinking they could already be transferred into the conference room (through v/m pro actions)... maybe a post dial...

The feature you are looking for is called "Priority Call"

if you create a button with that feature and a group number with all the Managers in it then they will ring, cover to twinned phones etc. even if they are in DND. It will keep ringing on all members until all have picked up and then they are in 1 big happy conf bridge.

That is as far as memory serves so you should try it out before you sell it as a feature to a customer :)
