On Hold Call makes no sound. 1

Last June I replaced a CICS hit with lightening with a CICS 7.1. Now the customer says that a call placed on hold does not beep at the holding station to remind them of the on hold call. They say the old system did. I can't find anything in the book. I would have thought this was a normal system function.

Under 'System Programming', then 'Feature Settings' is 'Held Reminder' and then a timer setting in seconds.

Also make sure it is set to tones and not to music.
