History of Question:
We use CallXpress voice mail with Unified Messaging. Recieved call with an error "can not open file voice.wav" from CallXpress. Come to find out there was 100 instances of voice.wav in the users OLK folder. I am ok in deleting file and move on, but... Started to research user profiles, and I have users with 1700 files, 2700 files, 866 files, 80 files and some have under 20, in the OLK folder.
Research says:
These files should be placed in OLK temp folder but delete after user closes document then close the email.
Question:
Why are some users having it delete and some are not? I even noticed some profiles were re-created, and the new profile, has old files in the OLK??? How did they end up in the new OLK folder/profile? I am sure I can create a batch or script on logoff. I am just shocked that I am the only one finding that many files in OLK, and why MS hasnt fixed this issue. Am I missing something? Is this a user issue, of them saving it in there, even if they say they dont save it in that folder.(we all know that saying)
