On some past version, there was a command where you could trim multiple lines at the same time. By clicking on a crossing line then clicking on the side you want all the lines trimmed to. Does that command still exist for AutoCAD 2005 LT?

Also, is there not a way to add layers into groups and toggle the freeze/layer off at the same time?

Select trim, then the trim line, then type in F for fence, draw a line to "hit" all of the trim objects and then enter.

theres also the cookie cutter trim...
now only available with express tools via the command line
"extrim"

cdc

Command you are searching is "Fence". Just type F when a selection is needed and click 2 points.... u will see a "crossing selection" line instead of the usual rectangle.

Best Regards,
Marco
