I cannot seem to make this function. am I missing something such as assigning a line or pool to the extention? or perhaps a particular configuration I need to have...any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you

Off-premise Message Notification is on as default in COS. As long as your Vmail ports have access to an outside line, it will work. It is setup under each individual Mbox and password.

Keep in mind the users mailbox also needs to be allowed access to either 1) Line, 2) Line Pool or 3) Route.. It's defined in each mailbox....

DB..

In CallPilot Manager, under your mailbox, with the Off Site Notificsation, once you enable it, you have to specify the type of access to go out of the system (line/ line pool or route), then you need to enter the correct digits (includes destination code... etc and the off site number you want the system to dial).

Hope this helps.
