OCS - Audiocodes - IP500

Dear,

we are setting up OCS 2007 and we have an IP500 in the office.

Like found on the website, the connectio with IP OFFICE is not directly supported.

Is there anyway we can set up the connection?

I found out that IP OFFICE is supported when using a 'Gateway'.

For example: Audiocodes Mediant 2000

Has anyone experience with it? I believe that the VOIP is going to be served by the gateway?

You can get the integration working with ESTOS CallControlGateway and a CTI TAPI 3rdparty license.

You won't have voice, but you'll get call control and presence.

I've been testing it our here, haven't had any issues with it.

Is there anyone who has experience with the Audiocodes gateway?

Because I don't get the picture for the connection, witch device does the calling (VOIP), the gateway or the IP500.

Make an IP Line between the IPOffice and the AudioCodes. Also the AudioCodes needs to be a H323 version I know from the MediaPacks MPxxx series that they can be changed from SIP to H323 by just swapping software.

We use them al lot but i've never tried connecting them to an IP line, we use them for faxes over an IP connection with an FXO and an FXS.
