Nvcpl.dll rundll at startup causing hang up??????

Can anyone tell me what this is as when I have it in my msconfig startup it takes 5 to 10 minutes for my system to work but when I take it out system works fine.

Is it needed for anything?

I know its gfix nvidia related but is it necassary at startup?

No. It's the Nvidia display control panel. It'll start up when you use the Start Menu to bring it up and doesn't need to be preloaded.
