Greetings.

I have 3 sites that are to form an SCN as follows:-
1. IPO SE 700 users
2. IPO CNTRL UNIT 300 users
3. IPO CNTRL UNIT 350 users

How many voice networking channels do I need per site as best practise?

You don't need to LIC any, with Server Edition as long as you have a valid SE LIC per node on the SE Primary it is included. Each control unit will need the appropriate VCM Card with respects to call volume.

Plus you need to consider and over estimate call volumes between links. This will determine your bandwidth and QoS requirements. lets home these are on an MPLS and the ISP can offer some sort of QoS on their network.

Since when is a forum a place to help configure a kit for a client??? Surely this information comes from meetings and questions between yourself and the client?? Assuming you are the BP anyway, if not you need to talk to them.

There is no rule to this. Every site and customer has different requirements for calls between sites, voicemail usage, groups cross ringing, DDI's routed across. Number of users doesn't have much bearing on this and is no indicator.

With SE there is no need to figure SCN channels as they are unlimited if you are truly deploying a SE configuration. The SE ignition process will automatically link the sites.

Thank you all especially jamie77 for pointing out the purpose of this forum.
