We have a customer with PRI that needs a a few changes to 2 DID's

"Ok, so main number (and I guess all lines in the phone system except the one above):
• from 7 am – 8 am will ring to extension 105 (Joe), if that extension does not pick up, can it go back to general mailbox?
• From 8am – 5pm – rings just like it is right now
• From 5pm – 6pm – rings to 150 (Allen), if that extension does not pick up, can it go back to general mailbox?
• From 6pm – 7am, and weekends, and holidays – goes to general mailbox, just like it does now

For second number: 972 516-XXXX:
• from 7 am – 8 am will ring to extension 105 (Joe), if that extension does not pick up, can it go back to general mailbox?
• From 8am – 5pm – rings just like it is right now
• From 5pm – 6pm – rings to 150 (Allen), if that extension does not pick up, can it go back to general mailbox?
• From 6pm – 7am, and weekends, and holidays – forwards to our after hours service number – 972-XXX-XXXX"

My thinking is do this with modes or hunt groups. Any ideas to get started?

Thanks,

Chaz

you can make tenants and make weektable with the modes day night lunch break

thanks

Because the times they change modes are the same you won’t need tenants, you point the second number to a different group, then tn the ddi table you put the difference destinations in dat, night, lunch and break

You can put the one to forward out to a group that has call forwarding on to the external number

Thanks. I got the group fwd out working for the night time. That works great. Just need to have the group containing multiple members terminate to a single mailbox after the ring cycle.

you have to make intercept from the ring group to the mailbox

Ok. Looking for the intercept in group settings. Not seeign it.

Perfect. i will test it out. We were adding a mailbox for the group, and that may have been causing us more headache. Looks like we can fwd to a mailbox, and fwd off premise all on the PBX side vs programmign in the UM.
