Hello All,

I need some serious help.... I have a 0x32 running USA MICS_XC 6.1 FC software and 2 6 port fiber expansions... Also connected is four trunk modules starting on slot one on ports 12, 11, 10 and 9 on the left...I know that 13 and 14 are for companion....Stations are starting on the expansion card on slot 2 ports 3, 4 and 5.... bottom up... stations are working fine... Here is the problem... When I press CO line 61 which is on trunk module one I get a "Not In Service" When I look at the programming under hardware and module status port 12 is not seen as a trunk module... Also I only have the option to change it to an ASM or Data module... Also when I look in maintenance under module status port 12 shows empty.... I have been scratching my head for two days now and I'm missing something...Is a key-code required to run 12 ports ??? A little history of the equipment... The 0x32 cabinet was pulled new out of our stock room and the software unfortunately was purchased separately and it was used.... Any help would be greatly appreciated... Sean

As long as you have XC software you should have 12 ports

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS AND AVAYA

only slots 8 to 2 for trunks. can't put trunk mods on 9-14

This is for stsguy..... so you what your saying is all trunks will be on the expansion card in slot two starting from the top.... port 8 and work there way done.... And the station modules will start on expansion card in slot one port 12 and work there way done... so when we went to 12 ports from 6 the configuration changes....

trunks on 2nd slot. 1st trunk mod goes to port 8 the 2nd trunk mod on port 7 and so on down to port 5. you will have 2 ports left. port 3 will be your 1st station mod and port 4 will be your 2nd station mod. your next staion mod will be on port 9 and so on up to port 12

Thank you for all your help !!!! It works fine now !!!
